What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a natural state that we all do without even noticing, it’s that feeling of daydreaming or when you lose yourself in a book, movie, music, or even one’s own thoughts or meditations. It’s that feeling of travelling home when you realise you can’t even remember the journey that’s when you have entered into the realms of the subconscious mind.

We all go in and out of light hypnosis several times a day.

Hypnotherapy is where a client is guided into a relaxed and trance-like state with the help of a clinical hypnotherapist.

In this state, clients can turn their attention completely inward to find and utilize the natural resources deep within themselves that can help them make changes or regain control in certain areas of their life.

I began seeing Nat at the beginning of the year, I was stuck in a pretty low place after being pushed out by various people and was about to give up on ever fighting off my demons. Through Nat’s gentle encouragement and wide range of techniques, I was able to begin to unearth a variety of deep-seated and ingrained beliefs which I was previously unaware of.
Following several sessions with Natalie, my 15 year old son managed to learn how to control his anger and anxiety. Her calming manner and approach were amazing and cannot recommend her services enough for anyone experiencing difficulties with their children.

I had always been a worrier but after a lot of tragic and sad events in my life my anxiety escalated to a level of constant worry and stress. Arriving at my first session I was nervous about what was to come. Natalie put me at ease almost immediately. I loved my sessions with Natalie and would leave with a feeling of peace and calm that I hadn’t felt for so long.
Hypnotherapy helped me realise that I wasn't the person I imagined I was and that I was a good lovable person, it also gave me confidence in once again believing in myself and my capabilities. I am now feeling that confidence coming back to me and realise that I was prioritising others opinions and choices above my own. Thank you Natalie for giving my life back again.

One-on-One Sessions

The sessions are aimed at putting you at ease, we talk through what Hypnotherapy is and how you do not lose control, you are just in a very relaxed state just as if you had enjoyed a meditation or the feeling of when you are just about to drop off to sleep.

We talk through the issues you would like to discuss and the outcomes of how you would like to feel or the habit you would like to change.

Sessions are usually about 50 minutes to 1hour, sometimes a little longer.

Many of my clients sign up for a block of six sessions as it usually takes 4 to 6 sessions to feel better with deeper issues which you may have had for some time. Sometimes, clients do feel better earlier which is a fantastic outcome for both myself and the client.

Remember, some issues, behaviours or worries  do stem back sometime, but Hypnotherapy is a fast and effective way to get to the root of issues and make changes.
